Administrative Specialist III Schedule: Full time, Monday – Friday, 8:00 am –  4:30 pm

Location: New Castle, DE

Administrative Specialist Job Duties:

This position will provide the full range of administrative support to the Executive Programs and Grant Administration Unit, specifically Statewide Opioid Response grant-funded teams. This includes document/spreadsheet/database/presentation design, creation, editing; limited research and analysis; and coordinating operations/components of programs. This also includes resource mailbox administration for the division’s Opioid Response Team, list-serv management, providing administrative support to leadership.

Administrative Specialist Qualifications:

  • Prior Administrative experience required (2 years minimum)
  • Processing administrative and program information utilizing word processing, spreadsheet and database computer applications.
  • Must be a DE resident
  • Candidate should possess a professional demeanor, good listening & communication skills, willingness to learn, and desire to support agency and clients 
  • Primarily a seated role
  • Scheduling and project management skills
